While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

To sign up for a Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

What will you learn?

We start your experience with a short theory and safety briefing which covers an introduction to the scuba equipment that you will be using.
Next it’s time to get comfortable in the water. You will first get used to breathing through a regulator with your face in the water. Then you will get to practice some basic underwater skills in shallow confined water with fish! We finally head off out into the open water to discover some of Malta’s amazing marine life and stunning underwater scenery, whilst experiencing the unique feeling of weightlessness.

Upon completion of this experience you are able to participate in further dives with AquaVenture Malta during your stay. Additional dives are available at €70.00 per dive.

Road transport to and from dive sites in the north of Malta.

1 Confined Water Session.

1 Open Water Dive (maximum 12 metres).

Free personal diving insurance cover.

Location – Cirkewwa Marine Park, Malta’s premier dive site (weather permitting)

Duration – 3 to 4 hours
